Valley of the Winds
Harnessing nature’s energy to power the future

Project details
Valley of the Winds will capture the natural power of the wind flowing through the Coolah Valley in the central west region of NSW. Up to 175 wind turbines will generate enough clean renewable energy to power 590,000 homes.

Community
The region’s agricultural connection with the land will continue side by side with renewable energy generation, bringing jobs and economic growth to the local area.

Location
The project will be located in Central NSW around 5km south-west of the small rural township of Coolah. Approximately 175 wind turbines are being proposed across three clusters at Mount Hope, Girragulang Road and Leadville.
