UPC\AC Renewables Australia is a joint venture between the UPC Renewables Group and AC Energy (a subsidiary of the Ayala Corporation). We develop, construct, own and operate renewable energy projects as an Independent Power Producer to the highest international standards.
Our aim is to provide low cost, clean electricity in a socially and environmentally responsible way by using innovative technology solutions.
We’ve been operating in Australia since 2016 with a number of projects within our development pipeline. This includes the New England Solar Farm in NSW, the Axedale Solar Farm in Victoria, the Robbins Island and Jim’s Plain Wind Farms in Tasmania, and the Baroota Pumped Hydro and the Bridle Track Solar Farm in South Australia.
UPC Renewables has been operating globally since the early 1990s with more than 4,500 megawatts of operating wind and solar projects with an estimated investment value of over AU $6 billion across North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
